Daniel Ausbun - pastor
Daniel has been pastor of First Baptist Moreland since April 2005. He was raised in Vestavia Hills, Alabama and committed his life to Christ when he was 15. He has a B.A. from Samford University and a M.Div. and Th.M. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is working on his D.Min. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary anticipating graduation in May 2009. He's writing his dissertation on, "Increasing the Value of Baptism Among Children at First Baptist Church, Moreland, Georgia." He also writes a biweekly "Pastor's Corner" on Saturdays in The Times-Herald, enjoys playing softball and is a member of the Georgia Cattlemen's Association. He is married to Sherri and they have two children, Daniel, Jr. and Elizabeth. They live in Moreland, Georgia. daniel@fbcmoreland.org
Linda Nix - minister of music
Linda has been the minister of music of First Baptist Moreland since December 2005. She has 28 years experience directing choirs and leading music, mostly for military chapels. She has an A.A. from
Enterprise-Ozark Community College. She is married to Billy and they have two sons and six grandchildren, and are expecting their seventh in February 2009. They live in

Anthony Mathis - minister of students
Anthony has been the minister of students since October 2007. He was born in
Stayton,
Oregon and grew up in
West Point,
Mississippi. He was saved when he was 12 years old at
Vacation
Bible
School. He served in the Navy for 8 years. He is the vice-president of information services at EMS Consultants in LaGrange. He is working on his associate's degree in computer information systems at West Georgia Technical College anticipating graduation in December 2008. He's also working on his B.S. from Liberty University. He is married to Maria and they have three children. They live in

Stephanie Sibley - director of children & preschoolers
Stephanie has been the director of children & preschoolers since July 2005. She was raised in Newnan, Georgia. She has a B.S.Ed. and a M.Ed. from the University of West Georgia. She has taught in the Coweta County School System. She is married with three girls. They live in Moreland, Georgia. stephanie@fbcmoreland.org
Tracy Glass - pianist
Tracy has been the pianist at First Baptist Moreland since December 2006. She also plays the harp, organ, and violin. She has a B.A. and M.S.Ed. from Southern Adventist University. She's taught school and played as a church pianist for over 20 years. She lives in
